Dr. Panayiotis Alexakis

Dr. Panayotis Alexakis is professor emeritus of Managerial Economics and Markets at the Department of Business Administration, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has been a scholar of the “Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation”. He has also held various academic posts. His research, published in scientific journals has been recognized worldwide. He has been chairman – CEO Athens Derivatives Exchange and Athens Derivatives Clearing House S.A. (1998-2004), chairman – CEO of the Athens Stock Exchange S.A. as well as of the listed company Hellenic Exchanges S.A (2000-2004). He has been a BoD member of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (2000-2004) and member of the Scientific Council of the Hellenic Banks Association (1994-2004). He has worked as consultant and has held managerial posts in various companies.
