Elias Eliades is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in the field of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), currently serving as Director of Investment Promotion at Enterprise Greece, the national agency responsible for investment and trade facilitation. He has led the design and execution of targeted investment promotion strategies across priority sectors—such as tourism, energy, agri-food, ICT, R&D, and Global Business Services— resulting in the materialisation of high-impact projects expected to generate over 4,000 new jobs. He has spearheaded the planning and execution of a vast number of international
investment missions, developed bespoke investment proposals, and orchestrated high-level investor engagements — including strategic site visits and senior-level government outreach — significantly advancing global investment inflows. Since 2022, he has been instrumental in redefining the agency’s strategic focus toward valueadded investment in advanced manufacturing, technology, R&D, innovation, and supply chain resilience, aligning Greece’s FDI agenda with global sectoral shifts and industrial policy goals. Elias holds an MSc in Political Science from the University of Warwick and a BA (Hons) in Communication, Media & Cultural Studies. His earlier professional background includes senior roles at Invest in Greece and the Hellenic Centre for Investments, as well as advisory functions in private and public sector marketing and stakeholder engagement.
