George Moschovakis
Electrical Engineer & Computer Engineer – IT Director of the 7th Health Region Administration in Crete
He studied Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He completed a master’s degree in Health Unit Administration (Hellenic Open University). In 1998 he was appointed as the head of the IT Department of Heraklion University Hospital. Then he became the director of the IT Department of the 7th Health Region Administration. In 2010 he was the CEO of Rethymno Hospital and in 2016 the Deputy CEO of Venizelio Hospital. He is the main contributor to the electronic medical record / medical and nursing flow management system “PANACEA”, which operates productively in all public hospitals of Crete. Today he serves the public health system from the position of the IT Director of the 7th Health Region Administration in Crete, having 25 years of experience in IT health systems.
