
George Xiradakis
President of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping, Founder – Managing Director, XRTC Business Consultants
George Xiradakis was born in Athens and grew up in Volos. He graduated from the Nautical Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and holds a Diploma in Commercial Operations from City of London Polytechnic and an MSc in Maritime Studies from the University of Wales.
He served as Senior Manager at Credit Lyonnais in Athens and Paris. In 1999, he founded XRTC Business Consultants, acting as commercial representative of foreign banks and institutions in the Greek shipping market.
He is a reference banker for Chinese financing, with long-standing ties to major Chinese financial institutions, and serves as Senior Advisor for Greece following XRTC’s cooperation with Huayang Maritime Center Co. Ltd.
He is President of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping, Board Member of AB Bank, Vice President of the Heraklion Port Authority, Deputy Director of the Shipping Finance Committee of the China Institute of Navigation, and Board Member of the Nasdaq-listed companies Imperial Petroleum Inc., C3is Inc. and Rubico Inc.
He also serves as Vice President of the Hellenic Chinese Chamber, Board Member of PCCI, Piraeus Marine Club and the Greece–China Association. He is a member of the Mediterranean Committee of the China Classification Society (CCS) and holds the honorary title of President Emeritus of the International Propeller Club – Port of Piraeus.
