Haris Alexopoulos
President of Hellenic Association of Insurance Intermediaries (HAII)
Haris Alexopoulos was born in Athens and has been serving the Insurance Market with professionalism and respect for 35 years. He is an Insurance Agent, Economist (A.U.E.B.), a graduate of Insurance Studies DAS, IIC and CII, and has participated in numerous specialized seminars maximizing and developing his knowledge on the subject.
He collaborates with Willis Towers Watson Agents, one of the largest insurance Agent-Broker worldwide. He speaks 2 languages. He has served as President of the Association of Professional Insurers of Greece during the three years 2005-2007, and from 06.2013 he participated in the Board of Directors from the position of Vice President until October 2025 when he was elected President of the Association.
He has participated as a Consultant in the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen , and is a member of the HUII and our international representation committee in BIPAR. He has a daughter, Phoebe, and is an active member of environmental organizations (“Kallisto”), the poetic movement “mtl”g” (with words it becomes) and a Marathon Runner. Through the Association of Professional Insurers of Greece, he is responsible for publishing the 3-monthly newsletter “Diasfalizo” (I Insure), which is his “brainchild”.
