Ioannis Dimopoulos

Ioannis Dimopoulos was born in 1978 in Athens, Greece. He studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE).
He began his career in the financial services sector, where he remained active until 2009. During this time, he received several distinctions, including an award from the Allianz Group in 1999 for excellence in mutual fund performance, a pan-European recognition from LIMRA in 2001, and professional certification from LUTC in 2003.
He has developed a multifaceted entrepreneurial career in Greece and abroad, with involvement in the fields of tourism, technology, telecommunications, e-commerce, and online advertising.
He has received numerous awards and recognitions in the field of tourism and online travel services for Ekdromi.gr—the leading hotel accommodation sales platform in Greece. Under his leadership, Ekdromi.gr has built a strong and constantly growing portfolio of high-quality hotels partners nationwide, along with a wide base of loyal premium customers, both in the retail and corporate sectors.
