Director–Capsule T Travel & Hospitality Accelerator
Katerina Saridaki is the Director of the first tourism sector startup accelerator in Greece, Capsule T Travel & Hospitality Accelerator, an initiative by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels. She joined forces with the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels in January 2019 and has developed the strategic development, planning and growth of Capsule T’ s program, which in 2022 won the “Best Accelerator Award” at the SESA Awards-Global Startup Awards, South Europe Region. In October2025 she was awarded the “Ecosystem Hero of the Year” award by the Global Startup Awards for the South Europe Region.In2022 she received the honorary award “Greek Hospitality Mentor” of the year by the Greek Hospitality Awards. Going further back in her professional journey, from 2013 till 2018, Katerina acted as the Executive Director of MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, the local chapter of MITEF Global, a non-profit initiative supporting the acceleration of Greek startups through competitions and community events. Prior to MITEF Greece, Katerina worked for 12 years in the marketing communication &advertising industry, acting as an Account Director at Sprint Integrated Marketing Communications till January 2013.She holds a BA in Marketing and an Executive MBA from the University of Kent.
