Konstantinos Baginetas

My name is Konstantinos Baginetas, I studied Agricultural Science at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued my studies at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London in Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development (M.Sc.) and at the University of Nottingham in Interdisciplinary Development of Agri-environmental Systems (M.E.D.) Sustainability Indicators (Ph.D.).
I have authored the books entitled “Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 & Rural Development Proposal for the Municipality of Lamia”, “Sustainable Leadership in Schools. Theoretical Approaches and Empirical Research” and “Two years of action – Kostas Baginetas – Secretary of Rural Organisations of the South-West”.
In June 2021 I was appointed Secretary General of Agricultural Policy and International Affairs, a position I still hold today.
My postgraduate studies, my work experience and my participation in research and professional training courses abroad and in Greece have contributed to the maximum efficiency of the management of the critical issues of the General Secretariat.
