Kostis I. Alfieris

Kostis Alfieris was born in Chania, Crete, and began his professional career in 1980 as an employee at an insurance agency.
In 1982, he joined PANELLINIOS ASFALISTIKI S.A., where he remained until 1991. During his tenure, he held positions of responsibility in the Personal Accident, Marine/Cargo, Liability, and Engineering insurance lines, gaining substantial technical and commercial experience in the insurance market.
In early 1991, he assumed the position of Sales Director at the insurance broker NASCO KARAOGLAN HELLAS and subsequently continued his professional career at the insurance company EUROGROUP S.A. until May 1999.
In October 1999, he became a partner in the insurance agency ATHENS INSURANCE AGENCIES Ltd. In 2002, he became a licensed Insurance Broker and was a co-founder of the brokerage firm ATHENS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A., where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Since 2025, he has served as Executive Director & Member of the Board at AGORA Insurance Brokers, contributing his extensive experience to the development of strategic relationships, the management of complex insurance needs, and the strengthening of the company’s brokerage approach in the Greek insurance market
