Michael Mitsopoulos

Michael Mitsopoulos (PhD Boston University) is director of Business Environment and Regulatory Affairs at SEV, where he has also worked as an economist. He held the position of vice chair at the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee of BusinessEurope from 2011 till 2015. Previously he has worked in the financial services sector and as a ministerial advisor in the General Secretariat for Commerce. He has taught at the University of Piraeus and the Athens University of Economics and Business and has written books and published articles, among other, on the Greek economy, growth economics, law and economics, European integration, structural reforms and tax policy.
