Nikos Hadjos
Founder & Managing Director, HOTELLECT – Hotel Investment Advisory / Consultant, Marriott International
Nikos Hadjos is the Founder & Managing Director of HOTELLECT – a boutique advisory firm with offices in Dubai, UAE and Athens, GR offering professional services in hotel investments and asset management and is currently the official Development consultant for all of Marriott International’s 33 brands, covering the markets of Greece and Cyprus.
Before venturing on his own, Nikos worked for Marriott International first as Director of Business Analysis based in Dubai, UAE from 2013 to 2017, when he joined the Hotel Development Marriott and was transferred to Athens, Greece, where he covered Greece, Cyprus and Malta until the end of 2020. During his four-year presence in Athens, Marriott became the fastest growing international hotel chain in Greece for three years in a row.
Before joining Marriott in the headquarters for Middle East and Africa in 2013, Nikos worked for hotel investment companies in the Middle East such as Kingdom Hotel Investments and Abraaj Capital, as Vice President of Acquisitions, covering Middle East, Africa and Southwest Asia.
Nikos has also held positions within the fields of consultancy with industry experts HVS in New York and operations with Marriott and Intercontinental in New York. He is a graduate of the University of Guelph, Ontario and holds an MBA in Finance & Investments from City University of New York. He is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in the UK.
