Olga Balaoura is CEO and President of the Board of General Oncology Hospital of Athens “Saint Savvas”. He is specialized in Health Services and she has previous experience in the Transformation of Hospitals and Health Care Units.
Olga Balaoura has also been designated by the Minister of Health as National representative for Comprehensive Cancer Centers (CCC) in supranational or international organizations. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Public Health. In the past (2010 – 2014) she served as CEO and President of the Board of the General Hospital “Konstantopoulio”. Since 2014, she has been practicing systematically consulting on issues related to the Transformation of the National Health System. She worked as a special consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO) and the company Giz (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) regarding the Reform and Support Program of the National Health System of Greece.
Olga Balaoura has two (2) postgraduate degrees. The first master degree is in National and European Administration, from Panteion University and the second master degree is in Health Economics, Policy and Management from the London School of Economics (LSE) with a Scholarship from the Onassis Foundation.
