QC Analyst – Sourcing Specialist
Penny Skordaki holds a degree in Economic and Regional Development from Panteion University in Athens. She is a Q Arabica & Q Robusta Grader with extensive experience in sensory analysis and origin evaluation. Her professional focus lies in understanding the complexities of coffee quality and sustainability across the value chain.
At El Cafe SA, she is responsible for green coffee sourcing and quality control, ensuring high standards of quality, traceability, and sustainability. Her role involves close collaboration with producers and partners to promote responsible sourcing practices and long-term relationships based on trust and transparency.
Penny is also an SCA Authorized Trainer (AST) and CQI Lecturer, committed to professional education and skill development in the coffee sector. In addition, she serves as a mentor at IWCA Greece and as a judge in national championships and the Cup of Excellence, supporting equity and excellence in the global coffee community.
