Petros Galanakis

Dr. Petros Galanakis is a University of Patras graduate with postgraduate studies in Medicinal Chemistry and a doctorate at the Department of Pharmacy, where he worked as a post-doctoral researcher until 2011. His transition from Academia to the Pharmaceutical Industry took place in 2011 when he started his career as a CRA working for AbbVie Pharmaceuticals as a contractor via the clinical research organization Zeincro Hellas. He subsequently transferred to the Medical Affairs department of Novartis Hellas, first as an MSL and then as a Medical Advisor in the therapeutic area of Respiratory diseases. In 2018 he took over the role of the Medical Lead for Respiratory and Immunology at the Medical Department of AstraZeneca, where he still works today.
