He was born and studied in Heraklion, Crete, where he studied Accounting & Finance. He has attended seminars on Alternative Tourism and Social Entrepreneurship.
For the last twelve years, he has been actively involved in Volunteerism and Social Contribution, having founded the Voluntary Association A.T.A.H.TOI (People of Solidarity Without Bonderies & Economic Self Interest), with a large social project in the Prefecture of Heraklion.
At the same time, in the last 4 years they have co-created Backpackbrothers with his brother Vangelis with the main goal of improving conditions in African and Asian countries.
