Simone Miotto
Executive Director, AEIP
imone Miotto is the Executive Director of the European Association of Paritarian Institutions of Social Protection (AEIP), a Brussels-based advocacy organisation representing social protection institutions established and jointly managed by employers and trade unions. An Italian lawyer by background, Simone has extensive experience in European pensions, social protection and financial services policy. At AEIP, he leads the association’s strategic development, relations with EU institutions and partners, policy coordination, European projects and outreach activities. Simone is a member of EIOPA’s Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group and he also serves on the Management Board of the European Tracking Service (ETS) Association. Before joining AEIP, Simone worked for six years as Senior Policy Adviser at PensionsEurope. He has also been actively involved in EIOPA’s work, including as a member of the Expert Practitioner Panel on the Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP) between 2019 and 2020.
