Sofia Gialama is a Sustainability Consultant, an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, and a PhD Candidate at the University of West Attica. Her doctoral research focuses on the climate vulnerability assessment of infrastructure using Artificial Intelligence. She has extensive international experience in the implementation of sustainability projects across more than 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Central Asia, and the United States. As Head of Advisory Department at Global Sustain, she coordinates ESG and Sustainable Finance projects for companies and international organisations, including Moody’s and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). In parallel, she specializes in the development and delivery of training programmes, sustainability strategies and reports, as well as in due diligence processes for sustainable investments, bringing significant experience from EU co-funded projects.
