Sophia Rodopoulou is a journalist and TV presenter, specializing in finance, business and markets reporting. Today she works for Alpha TV, in the News sector.
In 2021, she worked at Boussias Publishing, having a leading role in the creation of the brand new magazine “Women Leaders”. She was also editor of research topics and interviews.
In 2020, she run a daily newsroom-based TV program at Action 24, with news coverage, mainly of the markets, economics, investments, including interviews from politicians, business executives, academics and representatives of the civil society.
She began her career as a journalist in 2007 at the financial TV channel SBC TV. In 2010 she started to present financial TV shows. She was also writing articles in financial websites.
She holds a BA in Communication and a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from University of Leicester in the UK.
Her interview portfolio includes interviews from senior executives of international investment houses and rating agencies, such as Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s, Fitch Ratings, JP Morgan, Bank of America-Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, as well as representatives of international investment funds.
