Spiros is Managing Director of Euronet Merchant Services (epay) in Greece, focusing in supporting businesses of all sizes to accept payments including Euronet’s market leading acquiring capabilities alongside value added services such as Dynamic Currency Conversion, VAT refunds for foreign consumers, multi-acquiring switching, ATMs, digital content. He joined Euronet following the Company’s 2022 acquisition of Piraeus Bank Merchant Acquiring business. Before joining Piraeus Bank Group, he has held several positions at Geniki Bank (part of the Société Generale Group) since 2006. Being in the electronic payments market for over 15 years, Spiros has a strong track record of leadership and innovation, seeing the ecosystem transforming firsthand. He studied at the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus and holds an MBA from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
