Spyros Andritsos
General Counsel of the Hellenic Loan Servicers Association (HLSA)
Spyros Andritsos is a business lawyer with more than 15 years of post-law degree experience, advising financial institutions, corporations and non-profit organizations. His experience spans banking and financial services, corporate law and complex litigation.
From 2004 Spyros is a practicing lawyer. From 2009 he started working as in-house lawyer at Piraeus Bank. In 2017 he assumed the role of Special Legal Advisor at Hellenic Bank Association (HBA). His main field of activity at the HBA was banking regulation and the NPLs legal framework. In 2018 Spyros joined Praxia Bank as Director of the Legal Department. His area of responsibility was corporate lending, digital banking, regulatory compliance and data protection. In February 2020 Spyros was appointed as the General Counsel of the Hellenic Loan Servicers Association (HLSA), a trade association representing the newly formed credit servicers industry in Greece.
Spyros studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2000 – 2004). He obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from the same University specializing in the fields of Civil Law and Civil Procedure (2004 – 2006). He further received a LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) focusing on Banking Law and Financial Regulation (2007 – 2008).
Spyros is admitted before the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos).
