Stamatia Spanopoulou
Executive Board Member of National Actuarial Authority of Greece
Stamatia Spanopoulou is a graduate of Department of Statistics and Insurance Science of the University of Piraeus and holds a M.Sc. degree in “Statistical Methods of Insurance Institution Management” from Athens University of Business and Economics.
She is an executive board member of National Actuarial Authority of Greece. She has worked as a consultant, in the social security sector, for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. She has experience in a variety of topics in Social and Occupational Insurance.
She participates in the group which prepares the projections for the assessment of the Financial Evolution of the Greek Pension System.
She works actively on IORPs’ supervision, and she is a member of the team creating the rules regarding their activities and their supervision. She is also a member of the EIOPA working group for the prudential supervision of Occupational Insurance.
She participates in the Supervisor’s team which performs the EIOPA Stress Tests for Greek Occupational Pension Funds.
