Stephanos Stephanides is a senior executive with over twenty five years of leadership experience in the Greek and international insurance market. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), holding a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics.
He is currently an Executive Committee Member and P&C Chief Technical Officer at ERGO Hellas, where he holds full responsibility for the P&C Technical Operations Division, including Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, and Actuarial Pricing. Prior to this, he held key roles at AIG, serving as the South Zone EMEA FP&A Lead and as the Chief Financial Officer for its Greek operation. His extensive background also includes leadership positions as the General Manager of CNP Insurance and CFO of Activa Insurance, showcasing a track record in strategic planning, financial management, and driving business transformation.
His career is characterized by a strong commitment to excellence, robust people leadership, and a deep expertise in aligning operational strategy with corporate goals to foster growth and profitability.
