Symeon Maselis
Chairperson of the Hellenic Association of Loss Adjusters (HALA)
Symeon Maselis is a Mechanical Engineer since 1985 and co-founder since 1991 of TECHNOGROUP LTD, a company of technical consultants – experts for insurance companies, based in Chalandri and whose main activity is the integrated provision of services in the fields of Loss Assessment – Settlement, Risk Inspection, Fixed Assets Assessment. He has over 34 years of professional experience and has handled a large number of cases in the insurance market.
He is one of the founding members of the Hellenic Association of Loss Adjusters-HALA, which is the institutional body for the representation of insurance experts in Greece, except for traffic accidents. He was elected as a Supervisor on the Board of Directors. of HALA for the three-year term from 11.2020 to 11.2023, while in the current three-year term, from 11.2023 to 11.2026, he has been elected Chairman of the Board.
In 2021, he received the title of Certification of Professional Qualifications of Experts from the Pan-European Confederation of Experts FUEDI – ELAE.
In the past, he was active in the engineering studies, supervision of construction of E/M projects and fire protection in industries, hotel complexes and RES systems. He has taken part in numerous seminars and presentations. He speaks English.
