Thanassis Petmezas

Thanassis Petmezas leads cosmoONE since its foundation in year 2000. He is an Electrical Engineer graduated from the School of Engineering of The University of Patras, holds an MBA degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business, and has over twenty-five years’ experience in technology and services. Prior to joining cosmoONE, Thanassis worked for big multination IT companies (HP, Compaq, Intrasoft) in Sales Management and Business Development roles. He was also Vice President of GR.E.CA (Greek eCommerce Association) and Board Member of S.E.P.E. (Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises). Under Thanassis’ leadership, cosmoONE has implemented more than 11.700 e-Auctions, processed more than 540.200 e-Orders, organised more than 150.000 e-Tenders, and received 16 national and international distinctions and awards, the most recent one being the first prize at the 2022 WITSA Global Innovation & Technology Excellence Awards in the Sustainable Growth / Circular Economy (Private Sector/NGO) category.
