Themistocles Hantzaridis
Managing Director, Hellenic Pension Mutual Fund Management Company (HPMF)
Themistocles Hantzaridis is the CEO of HPMF of Social Security Funds (Hellenic Pension Mutual Fund Management Company) and is a member of the investment committees that manage the mutual funds of the company.
He is involved throughout the years with the Occupational Pension Funds system, and he serves as the President of the Investment Committee of the Occupational Pension Fund of the Pharmaceutical Employees, as a member of the Investment Committee of the Occupational Pension Fund of the Food Commerce employees and as a member of the Investment Committee of the Occupational pension fund of the Ministry of Finance employees.
Furthermore, he has participated on the task force of the reforming and reshaping of the supplemental defined contribution social security system.
In the past he has served in various upper level managerial and executive positions for Greek brokerage firms in Greece
He holds a graduate degree in Economics (M.A.) from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and an undergraduate degree (B. COMM.) in Management Economics and Finance from the above-mentioned University as well.
He is also an accredited Certified Portfolio Manager (“C” class Certification) from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC).
