Vangelis Kollias
Technical Director, Teletel
Vangelis Kollias was born in Athens, Greece in 1967; he holds a PhD degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the same University.
Since 1996, he has been working with TELETEL SA (www.teletel.eu), a Greek aerospace & defence SME, specialising on space electronic test systems as well as and flight & ground software. Vangelis held various positions, from embedded software development to project management. Since 2008, he is the Technical Director of TELETEL, being responsible for the definition and coordination of numerous International Development Projects in the area of aerospace & defence. He is currently managing TELETEL’s iSAFT product line activities, all technical and commercial activities related to the space domain and the relevant contracts with ESA, AIRBUS, Thales Alenia Space, OHB, etc. He has more than 40 scientific publications and he has successfully served as the coordinator of numerous international R&D projects for the European Commission, ESA, NATO, EDA & GSA development projects.
