David Derigiotis

David Derigiotis is Corporate Senior Vice President and National Professional Liability Practice Leader with Burns & Wilcox. He is also responsible for Node International’s North American operations, a Managing General Agent and sister company of Burns & Wilcox recognized for its capabilities in cyber-risk and technology-related insurance solutions.
David is a published author, a licensed continuing education instructor, and is often a go-to for media, appearing in a variety of publications, radio and televised news segments speaking on cyber security and privacy risks. He has worked with the Federal Trade Commission, the OECD and the U.S. Department of the Treasury evaluating privacy regulation and providing insight on the global cyber insurance market.
David is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) focusing on privacy law and corporate data governance.
