Antony Makrydimitris,
Professor Emeritus
Studied Law and Political Science at the University of Athens. Pursued graduate studies in England at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LL.M) and University College London (Ph.D.). On a Fulbright Scholarship he visited, studied and taught at Princeton University (USA).
Alongside his academic career he has served as member of numerous of Select Committees on Public Administration in Greece and abroad, including the Committee of Experts of the Social and Economic Council of the United Nations.
He has acted as a special advisor to the Prime Minister on matters of Public Administration (2004 – 2009), President and Chief Executive Officer of the public broadcasting corporation (2014), as well as Alternate Minister of the Interior in the interim (electoral) Government (2015).
He has written extensively on matters of public administration and governance, political and administrative theory, ethics and reform.
