Active in the shipping industry since 1998 in shipping brokerage companies in London, and since 2001 in the family business.
Over the last 20 years Venieris Maritime has represented in Greece many major shipping companies both in the container segment such as Senator Lines, Stinnes Lines, Hanjin Shipping, Unimed Feeder Services, MCL Feeders and most recently HMM Co Ltd (Hyundai Merchant Marine).
President of the International Maritime Association in Greece since 2021, board member since 2018 and ordinary member since 2001.
The International Maritime Association is the representative of Greece in FONASBA and ECASBA
Participation as a stakeholder in the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) funding program of the European Union as well as in the Waterborne Platform program for the carbonization and optimization of the maritime transport of goods in combination with the minimum possible stay of ships in the ports of call.
