Dimitris Mantzalis

Dimitris Mantzalis leads the Life, Health, and Investment Insurance & Actuarial services at EY Greece. His responsibilities involve driving Product Innovation, Solvency II & IFRS valuations and Regulatory Product Reporting (i.e. PRIIPs). His role also encompasses the integration of Asset Liability Management and Capital Optimization through the process of selecting investment strategies.
He started his career at EY in 2012 as a Life Actuary. He then worked at NN Hellas as a Risk Actuary and in 2018 he joined ERGO where he worked as a Pricing Actuary for insurance investment products. Since 2019, he works for EY being promoted to Director in 2023.
Dimitris is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries (IFoA) and holds a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from Cranfield University. He also holds a MSc in Computational Mechanics from School of Chemical Engineering and a BSc from School of Applied Mathematics and Physics from National Technical university of Athens.
