Dr. Georgios Dairis
Deputy CEO, Piraeus Asset Management MFMC
Dr. Georgios Dairis is the Deputy CEO and Vice Chairman at the BoD of Piraeus Asset Management MFMC. He began his career in XIOSBANK in 1995, as a Mutual Fund manager and continued to Piraeus Bank to date. Dr. Dairis previously held the position of Chief Investment Officer of Piraeus Asset Management MFMC while in the course of time he has managed Mutual Funds of all categories – Money Market Funds, Bond Funds, Equity Funds – both domestic and international. He is a certified Portfolio Manager by the HCMC and a certified Securities and Derivatives Trader by the Athens Stock Exchange. He graduated from the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with postgraduate studies in economics at Clark University (MA, USA), holds MA and PhD degrees with specialization in International Finance, Industrial Organization, Applied Modeling and Econometrics.
