Dr. Lavrentios Vasiliadis serves as the Director of Culture, Tourism, and Employment for the Region of Western Greece, bringing extensive expertise in managing national and trans-European projects. He holds an MSc and a PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE), specializing in Foreign Direct Investment and Regional Development. His career spans high-level consultancy in tourism real estate and sustainability studies, alongside strategic project management for the Hellenic Public Sector. A seasoned academic, he has taught economics and tourism at the University of Patras and the Hellenic Open University, among others.
