Margarita Antonaki
General Manager, Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (H.Α.I.C)
Mrs Margarita Antonaki is a mathematician- actuary with master studies on Business research and Computer science and long experience in the Private Insurance sector. From 1995 she holds the position of the Director General of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies.
She has served as a scientific associate in the University of Athens, as head of Financial and Audit of Insurance Companies in the Ministry of Commerce and also worked as the General Manager of the Commercial Union Life Company. In the past she has been elected as a member of the BoD of the Greek Actuarial Association and the Private Insurance Supervisory Committee, participated in a number of law preparatory committees and represented Greece in many conferences and meetings of the European Committee and the European Insurance and Reinsurance Federation (Insurance Europe). She is also Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Greek Institute for Insurance Education, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Occupational Fund of Private Insurance (TEA-EAPAE) and a member of the Insurance Europe’ s Executive Committee.
She has been a member of the Technical Committee for Education and Examinations of Intermediaries of the Ministry of Development and a lecturer to the Greek Institute for Insurance Education.
