Sophia Papastefanou is Assistant Manager in the Institutional Portfolios and International Investments division at Alpha Asset Management M.F.M.C. with over 20 year’ s experience in the financial sector. She is responsible for managing fund of funds’ portfolios registered in Greece and Luxembourg, including global equity, fixed income, thematic and alternative investments. She has expertise in sustainability issues and responsible investment practices. She leads the incorporation of ESG criteria in the investment decision process and portfolio management as well as the adoption of the six principles for responsible investments in accordance with the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) initiative. She is member of the ESG Investment Committee and Private Banking Investment Committee. Mrs Papastefanou holds a Master of Science in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Reading.
