Vassilis Balanis

Vassilis Balanis is the CEO of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Health (ODIPY S.A.) since October 2020 as well as visiting lecturer at SDA Bocconi University in Milan, in the fields of Health & Pharma Policy, Quality Improvement in Health.
Vassilis Balanis, since 2018, was the Industry Lead for Healthcare & Life Sciences Strategy Consulting for Deloitte in Greece. Before joining Deloitte, he worked as Consultant for the NHS, improving the clinical operations in hospitals across the country. In the past, we also worked as General Manager at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust in London, and as a consultant for Big Pharma for the multinational company ICON plc. Vassilis Balanis holds Master’s degree in International Healthcare Management, Economics & Policy from SDA Bocconi, while he also possesses an MBA from CIIM and the Harvard School of Public Health and MSc in Telemedicine & E-Health Systems.
