Yannis Spanoudakis has been active in the Greek insurance market for almost 4 decades. He holds an Electrical Εngineering Diploma has worked for leading insurance companies in many positions, from simple clerk up to General Manager, for international Insurance Brokers and for high profile private companies – as in current period that he is the Corporate Insurance Manager of the Mytilineos Group. He has also cooperated closely with leading reinsurers, not only on reinsurance placement but also on new wordings and major claims. During all those years he has been actively involved in many unique projects requiring complex insurance covers and risk management solutions. Due to his extensive experience he is in position to approach any matter from both underwriter’s and client’s perspective, bridging different and sometimes conflicting views. This is especially critical in case of new types of insurance covers and/or emerging risks that requiring innovative and unbiased approach.
