Greek Space Tech Forum 2024

The aim of the Greek Space Tech Forum 2024 #gstf24 is to showcase aspects of the Space 4.0 space market or, put differently, the emerging New Space market, in which a dynamic Greek space ecosystem operates; an ecosystem that is steadily consolidating its position.

On the one hand, over recent years the domestic ecosystem has shown strong growth potential, a strong outward-looking focus, and has engaged in business and industrial innovation, while on the other hand the Greek Government has invested significantly in the development of space technologies by implementing specialized space technology and applications programs financed either by national resources or by European funds.

The forum will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, by ethosEVENTS in co-organization with the Hellenic Association of Space Industry (ΕΒΙΔΙΤΕ) & the Hellenic Space Technologies and Applications Cluster (si-Cluster), a corallia initiative. It will be possible to attend the conference either in person at the Divani Caravel hotel or online through the LiveOn Expo Complex, LiveOn’s innovative 3D exhibition and conference center, the Digital Platform for Business Communication and Events.

Objectives of the Greek Space Tech Forum

The Forum promotes extroversion and cooperation, the use of new digital and green technologies, scientific research, innovation and sustainability in the space sector, and strives to expand the general public’s and citizens’ knowledge about space technologies and their applications.

The Forum seeks to create a fertile environment where participants are encouraged to promote new ideas, present in detail innovative projects and products, and prepare the ground for their commercialization so as to create new economies and new jobs, exchange business experiences and talk about the challenges they face, thereby bolstering the space entrepreneurship sector.

Workshop (by invitation only)

During the conference, a Workshop will be held with the theme: “National Space Strategy“, featuring keynote speakers Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, Minister of Digital Governance, and Dr. Konstantinos Karantzalos, General Secretary of Telecommunications and Post.”

Minister of Digital Governance
Secretary General of Telecommunications and Post
Director of ESA BIC Greece and Chairman of the si-Cluster
Chairman of Hellenic Association of Space Industry

The workshop is organized as a hybrid event, with physical presence of participants at the Divani Caravel hotel, while the option of digital attendance is available through LiveOn Expo Complex.
