Greek Exports Forum & Awards 2026

In a year when Greek exports will be tested under fluid conditions shaped by intense geopolitical conflicts, trade wars, and the new tariff policy from the U.S., the Greek Exports Forum & Awards 2026 come to identify the problems and the practical “tools” for managing them, while simultaneously highlighting the opportunities that arise for exporting businesses, providing valuable information to strengthen their export activities. At the same time, the event will highlight and reward companies that excel in the export sector.

The organization of the Greek Exports Forum & Awards consistently provides an opportunity for all potential exporters to hear from the most suitable people, institutional and business market stakeholders, discussing the latest economic data, available development programs, and the new outward-looking strategy. Additionally, successful exporters present the success stories of their companies and share their valuable experiences and knowledge with the audience.

Top executives of export-oriented businesses, representatives of productive sectors, government officials, and those directly responsible will present their positions and exchange views on the future of exports, the problems and obstacles that arise, as well as the actions that need to be implemented.

As part of the Greek Exports Forum & Awards 2026, the organizers have secured for potential exporter participants the opportunity to hold personal meetings (B2B meetings) with representatives of sponsors and the following Economic and Commercial Affairs Offices (ECAOs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Bilateral Chambers of Commerce.

At the center of the new reality shaping the international trade and energy landscape are exports, a sector of vital importance for the development of the Greek economy that has been on an upward trajectory in recent years. Due to the new data and challenges, the export sector must now be addressed differently by both the state and businesses.

The traditional model of exports and, more generally, the outward orientation of Greek entrepreneurship is changing, and adaptation to the new reality is absolutely necessary. Global trends such as “technological advancement and digitization”, “climate crisis and the need to adopt sustainable business practices”, “geopolitical instability”, and the “transformation of consumer behavior” internationally are now dramatically affecting the way international markets operate.

At the forefront are the Economic and Commercial Affairs Offices (ECAOs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the organizations supervised by it, “Enterprise Greece” and “Export Credit Greece”, in collaboration with business associations and productive/sectoral bodies of the country. The goal is to enhance our country’s position and presence on the international stage thru the promotion of bilateral and multilateral collaborations, its representation at Trade Forums and International Exhibitions, the development of trade networks and contacts, and the strengthening of exports.

In this context, a new reality for Greek exports is being shaped based on the following factors, which will be analyzed at the Greek Exports Forum 2026:

  • The prospects and challenges in 2026 for Greek exports and the reorganization of the outward-looking model to strengthen the country’s international presence.
  • What are the pillars on which the extroversion of the Greek model should be based?
  • The decisive role of O.E.Y. offices in export efforts and business success stories.
  • The impacts of Trump’s new tariff policy, the geopolitical factors, and the Mercosur agreement (if it is eventually implemented).
  • The new financing and insurance programs for export credits in the new geopolitical and tariff landscape.
